Job Title: Refrigeration Engineer

Our client, a global market leader in niche sector infrastructure solutions, is seeking a proactive and experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their technical support division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance and commissioning of refrigeration equipment, as well as performing reactive breakdown fault-find and repair of equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge and technical understanding of refrigeration equipment and conduct the necessary and appropriate safety checks to ensure each item of equipment is safe and fit for purpose.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with items of equipment and diagnose and order parts to achieve a first-time fix and complete associated documentation for maintenance and service traceability.
  • Complete full inspections and reports to provide for the business and client as required and ensure commissioning works are completed to relevant standards and safety regulations.
  • Assist and support the Technical Support and Projects Departments as required on equipment maintenance / repair and installations.
Requirements:
  • F-Gas qualifications and at least 3 years' previous experience gained within a refrigeration catering equipment environment.
  • Proven electrical skills and experience, with additional experience of testing and repairing Electrical Catering Equipment, basic Plumbing, commercial Warewashing and Gas experience proving distinctly advantageous.
