Worthing Theatres & Museum is seeking a Development Coordinator to assist the Development Team in securing critical funds that will support the organization in achieving its ambitious goals.
Following a significant fundraising review, WTM has established a new strategy that reflects the need to increase income raised over the next 3 years to meet its creative and capital plans.
Key Responsibilities- Fundraising and Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with trusted major donors who give up to £10,000 per year, including donor management, report writing, and recognition.
- Secure new income through grant applications and funding of up to £10,000 to support a variety of WTM projects, researching local foundations and businesses, identifying suitable projects within WTM's portfolio for application, writing proposals, etc.
- Operations and Development Support
- Lead donor recognition for the department, ensuring all donors are acknowledged in relevant digital and print materials throughout the year.
- Act as the daily point of contact for the Development Team for the use of the Spektrix database, ensuring best practice.
- Work with the Finance Team to regularly monitor Development income and report to the Development Director and Development Manager.
