Job Title: Aftersales Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Aftersales Service Engineer to join our team at Travail Employment Group. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring their mechanical equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform mechanical repair, servicing, fitting, and installation duties at customer sites and in our workshop.
  2. Change bearings, rollers, and motors at site locations and facilities.
  3. Read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
  4. Liaise with customers to provide a professional and responsible point of contact.
  5. Work independently or as part of a team of two, traveling to different locations.
  6. Hold a full driving licence and use a company-provided transit van.
  7. Attend the depot daily to pick up the van and start work early when traveling to different locations.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working with mechanical machinery or equipment.
  2. Knowledge of conveyors or similar types of production machinery or mechanical material handling equipment.
  3. Engineering qualifications or a suitable work history.
  4. Experience in a Service Engineering or production environment with mechanical fitting and repair/maintenance or transferable skills.
  5. A current and full driving licence.
