Job Summary:
First Call Contract Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Immigration Host to join our team at Gatwick Airport. As an Immigration Host, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of arriving passengers through the UK Border.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist and guide arriving passengers to present themselves to the UK Border as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Manual completion of queue time reports to monitor and optimize processing times.
- Identify and guide passengers requiring assistance through the correct channels, including electronic passport gates and referrals desks.
- Monitor and maintain the E passport gates, ensuring continuous operation and minimizing downtime.
- Manage barriers in the uni-feed to maintain a smooth flow of passengers through the queuing system.
- Support the Team Leader in implementing decisions and changes to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide feedback on operational issues and processes to enhance performance.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained, allocated, and used correctly.
- Be flexible with shifts to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements:
- 3 years of customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Chinese language (required).
- English language proficiency (preferred).
- Full Airside pass for LGW.
- Uniform requirements: black trousers/skirt, white plain shirt, black jumper/cardigan, black smart shoes, and HiViz (provided).
