Position Overview:
Expleo Engineering UK Limited is seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer with a focus on electrical systems to join our team. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our client's manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in refurbishment and obsolescence projects while adhering to safety regulations and CE marking standards.
  • Assist Production and Maintenance teams to ensure timely delivery of manufacturing outputs.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Maintenance team to optimize machine performance and achieve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targets.
  • Design and implement safety enhancements within the manufacturing department.
  • Oversee and manage contract labor to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality of work.
  • Collaborate with planning engineers to facilitate facility upgrades and modifications.
  • Lead and manage improvement initiatives during non-production periods, including weekends and shutdowns.
  • Administer service contracts, manage procured services, and oversee the revenue budget.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum qualification of HNC in an electrical discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in facility upgrades and project management.
  • Experience managing on-site contractor operations.
  • Strong communication and report writing abilities.
  • Proficient analytical reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with legal compliance standards such as LOLER, PUWER, and Environmental regulations is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems is preferred.
