Senior Façade Consultant

Vox Network Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Senior Façade Consultant to join their London office. This role will report to the Regional Manager – UK and will involve working on a range of large scale curtain wall projects from concept stage to completion.

About the Role


• Collaborate with architects, builders, and developers to design and deliver memorable buildings.


• Contribute to the design and engineering of curtain wall and cladding systems, as well as specialty systems.


• Coordinate with project consultants to determine best practice façade design outcomes.


• Develop reports and hand design sketches for all stages of the project.


• Prepare fee proposals and write specifications.


• Assist with construction of façade systems, including mock-up testing and factory & site inspections.


• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.

Requirements


• Master degree in Architecture or 5 year equivalent in Civil / Structural Engineering.


• Significant experience working in the construction industry.


• Extensive familiarity with façade systems, façade design, materials, and fabrication / manufacture.


• Excellent communications skills and ability to hand sketch for presentation purposes.


• Knowledge of relevant standards and codes for façades and services.


• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.


• Planning and organisational skills.


• Flexibility to meet varied demands of the role.
