As a Senior Packaging Development Scientist at Haleon, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of packaging solutions for our diverse product portfolio.
You'll lead complex packaging development projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and successful outcomes.
Your technical expertise will be instrumental in selecting and developing optimal packaging systems for both new and existing products. You'll champion inclusive design principles, prioritize consumer satisfaction, and actively contribute to our sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of innovative packaging solutions that meet the unique needs of our products and consumers.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, regulatory affairs, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of emerging packaging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing protocols to evaluate the performance, safety, and sustainability of packaging materials and designs.
- Translate consumer insights into tangible solutions that enhance the user experience and drive product differentiation.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are seamlessly transitioned to the supply chain for production.
Qualifications:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced individual with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Proven experience in R&D/packaging innovation within the consumer goods industry is essential.
