Financial Accounting Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Manager to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our Financial Accounting Function, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services and ensuring the effective management of external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you will be part of a team of 4 that oversees the accounting for the shared network with EE and Retail estate, both administered by external service providers and reporting under IFRS 16 and IAS 17.
  • You will have a working knowledge of IFRS 16 or IAS 17, with a strong technical accounting background and experience in managing external and internal stakeholders.
  • Intermediate Excel skills are essential, and you will be required to work closely with the team to deliver efficient processes and effective management of external service providers.

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or ICAEW) with at least 3 years of PQE (Post Qualified Experience)
  • Strong technical accounting skills and experience in managing external and internal stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of IFRS 16 or IAS 17
  • Intermediate Excel skills
