Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Research Assistant to join our team at Buckinghamshire New University. As a Research Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of research projects, working closely with our academic staff to contribute to the review and summaries of relevant literature, undertake participant recruitment and data collection, and analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the review and summaries of relevant literature for research projects.
- Undertake participant recruitment and data collection, ensuring high-quality data is collected and managed.
- Analyze and interpret qualitative and qualitative data, making use of appropriate research methods and techniques.
- Report and present information to the research team, including production of short findings reports.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of activities relating to research projects.
- Contribute to the promotion and dissemination of research projects and their outputs across the University and in external conference presentations.
- Comply with University policies relating to health and safety, equality of opportunity, and data management.
- Comply with relevant legislative and other requirements in all working practices.
