About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Care Support Worker to join our team in West Beckton. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing social and emotional support to our residents with complex learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks and personal hygiene needs.
  • Support residents with their shopping and budgeting, as well as building and maintaining relationships with friends and family.
  • Assist with household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Engage residents in activities and outings, such as farm visits, swimming, and participating in day centers in the community.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, including autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work calmly and sensitively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy and basic IT skills.
