Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Take charge of the comprehensive delivery of engineering initiatives, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Technical Guidance: Supervise and support the design and execution of technical processes, with a particular focus on IP-based systems that comply with ST2110 standards.
  • Critical Decision Making & Procurement: Make essential decisions regarding technical apparatus and oversee the procurement activities to align with project objectives.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Develop and sustain thorough project documentation, encompassing timelines, system diagrams, and cable layouts.
  • Team Enhancement: Mentor and cultivate the engineering team on pivotal technologies and software, ensuring consistent, high-quality support across all projects.
  • System Evaluation: Employ advanced tools to assess systems for technical soundness and address intricate challenges.
  • Client & Supplier Engagement: Foster and maintain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Consultative Role: Serve as a consultant on initiatives related to business expansion, offering expertise on workflow diagrams, budget formulation, and technical documentation.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • IP & Networking Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Broadcast IP network architecture and implementation, with specific experience in ST2110 standards, SMPTE 2022, NMOS, Dante, and AES67.
  • Broadcast Engineering Expertise: Demonstrated experience in broadcast engineering, emphasizing both IT and networking within an engineering context.
  • Project Management Acumen: Proven ability to manage and deliver intricate engineering projects, effectively handling multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Ability to devise innovative solutions to technical challenges while maintaining composure under pressure.
