Perinatal Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at the Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Perinatal Mental Health Service, you will play a vital role in improving the psychological health and wellbeing of women accessing our Maternal Mental Health Clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake specialised psychological assessments, treatment, and other types of clinical intervention with individual clients.
- Work independently under supervision, subject to review at regular intervals, in accordance with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Psychological Society (BPS) guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of the service, including designing and implementing therapeutic groups, providing training and supervision for midwifery/NICU services, and research and service evaluation projects.
- Currently enrolled on a Doctorate for Counselling Psychology training programme, working towards qualification and professional registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
- An Honours Degree in Psychology.
- Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
- Honours Degree in Psychology graded at upper second class or above.
