Job Description

Stonor Legal is seeking an experienced Corporate Associate (5 PQE+) to join our highly regarded Corporate Department in the Thames Valley.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a career-minded solicitor to join our expanding Corporate Department and work on a diverse range of corporate transactional and advisory work, including:

  • Private Mergers and Acquisitions (both buy side and sell side)
  • Private Equity (principally management advisory and portfolio work)

The ideal individual will have trained with a recognised city or regional practice and be capable of demonstrating a consistently strong academic record.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality corporate advice to clients on M&A, Private Equity, and other corporate matters
  • Working closely with senior lawyers to develop and implement corporate strategies
  • Assisting in the preparation and execution of corporate transactions, including due diligence, contract negotiation, and deal completion
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Between 2 and 6 years' PQE and relevant corporate law experience gained with a recognised regional or London commercial firm
  • A proven track record or keen interest in business development and client relationship management
  • A commercial approach and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
