About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our Food & Beverage department, ensuring exceptional service standards, and driving guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver outstanding service and meet guest needs.
  2. Ensure full product knowledge of all menu items, wines, and drinks, and maintain high standards of uniform and personal appearance.
  3. Adhere to and enforce safety policies, ensuring proper safety instructions are followed.
  4. Cover Person on Duty Shifts and provide exceptional service to guests.
Requirements:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with experience in a similar role within the hospitality or travel and tourism industry. You should be:

  1. Proactive and reliable
  2. Responsible and highly motivated
  3. Skilled in effective communication and negotiation
  4. Knowledgeable in cocktails, spirits, and wine
  5. Preferably a Responsible Service of Alcohol or Personal License Holder
