About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team at Micronclean. As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance team in providing accurate and timely financial information to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Produce timely and accurate management accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans to achieve business objectives, including cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
  • Financial Systems: Maintain and improve financial systems and processes, including accounting software and internal controls.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and the board of directors.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, including tax and accounting standards.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: AAT qualified (MAAT) or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, or other UK applicable financial reporting standards. Experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and financial reporting.
