We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our Emergency Duty Team (EDT) in Wrexham. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with Social Workers to provide a high-quality service to children, young people, and families in crisis.
About the Role:- Provide support to children and young people who have come into the care of the local authority in an emergency.
- Work with parents, carers, children, and young people to help them maintain positive relationships and remain together as a family unit.
- Support workers will be on a standby rota, receiving payment for 2.5 hours and an hourly rate if called out to carry out a piece of work.
- A qualification in a related discipline (or working towards a qualification such as QCF Level 3, Social Work, Nursing) would be preferable.
- Experience working with children and young people is essential.
- An enhanced DBS & Social Care for Wales registration is required for this position.

- A competitive hourly rate and payment for standby shifts.
