Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Parkinson Lee Executive Search. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the procurement function and driving commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of procurement and supply chain strategies, aligning with business goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to the procurement team, shifting their focus from process-driven behaviors to a more dynamic, results-oriented approach.
- Implement a Business Partnering approach, fostering strong, consultative relationships with internal stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.
- Develop and implement best practices in tender execution and contract management, leading to measurable improvements in cost savings, contract delivery, and supplier performance.
- Drive value creation across all procurement activities, ensuring the delivery of key objectives in supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and cost optimization.
- Support the ongoing transformation of the procurement function, aligning it with the organization's broader strategic goals and contributing to the successful delivery of services.
- Ensure compliance with procurement governance and maintain transparency throughout procurement activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance procurement processes and align them with business processes.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, services, and leasing agreements, ensuring efficient contract reviews, renewals, and tenders.
- Lead the continuous improvement of purchasing systems, ensuring alignment with legal and financial regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Procurement and Financial regulations, overseeing all procurement activities within statutory limits.
- Lead the management of lease contracts, stock, and other key assets.
- Qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) or equivalent.
- Demonstrable evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).
- Proven leadership skills with extensive experience in senior procurement management within large and complex organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of UK Procurement regulations and public procurement directives.
- Strong track record of managing complex projects and delivering them on time, within budget.
- Experience developing a procurement service that seeks to partner with key stakeholders, driving commercial and procurement activity.
