Role: Senior Rehabilitation Team Leader

Contract Type: 12 months fixed term
If you are an experienced therapist with a strong commitment to rehabilitation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team, this role offers an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated professional to take on the challenge of leading our rehabilitation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
The service operates from a 40-bed Intermediate Care unit, providing a 7-day service from 8 am to 7 pm. Your role will involve assessing, treating, and evaluating client needs through a holistic and patient-centered approach. The primary objective is to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and facilitate timely discharges, ensuring clients receive the rehabilitation they need to return home. Additionally, we are developing an outreach service and exploring options for providing intermediate care at home.
As the Senior Rehabilitation Team Leader, you will guide the clinical team, contribute to service development, and provide specialist advice to clients and colleagues. You will also play a vital role in supervising and training other therapists and non-qualified staff, while also supporting undergraduate students as a Clinical Educator. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is essential to delivering comprehensive services through skill sharing and a Competency Framework.
