Job Title: Primary Outreach Tutor - QTS Required

Job Type: Part-time, Contract

Location: Within the community or pupils' home

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Outreach Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Primary Outreach Tutor, you will be responsible for creating, planning, and delivering 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to pupils
  • Plan and implement effective learning strategies to reengage pupils in their education
  • Work closely with Prospero Teaching to monitor pupil progression and support effective learning
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Ability to work with pupils who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or are disengaged from education
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
  • Two professional child-related references
