This role involves managing projects effectively, utilising in-depth knowledge to assess the most appropriate course of action presented by each site visit.
Technical ExpertiseYou will take the technical lead on specific surveying topics, including advising, mentoring, remaining up to date with relevant legislation, procedures, policies, and professional codes of conduct, upholding best practice standards.
Asset ManagementYou will be responsible for organising and delivering capital and revenue schemes, utilising a variety of traditional design, specification, and intelligent client project management commissioning methods.
Collaboration and LeadershipWorking collaboratively with the Regional Facilities Manager (West), you will lead and co-ordinate multi-disciplinary approaches to the asset management of the built estate for both freehold and leased buildings.
Continuous ImprovementYou will support long-term planning of the service ensuring continuous improvement and business continuity.
You will have the opportunity to mentor and provide on-the-job training to other team members to meet objectives and deliver a professional service.
Organisation skills are important to balance competing demands, including cost, risk, and time pressures, and deliver best practice outcomes that comply with statutory requirements.
Previous formal training or professional qualification, such as a surveying degree, is necessary for this role.
You will have significant relevant experience in the application of building surveying and have extensive experience in its application.
