About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will work in a specialist manufacturing environment, collaborating with stakeholders to bring about a modernization journey that standardizes business reporting practices and eliminates silos.

You will be responsible for managing the data service environment, monitoring performance, integrating new data sets and sources using automation tools, and developing secure data marts for end-user self-service reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the data service environment, ensuring high-quality data solutions that meet business needs
  • Develop and implement data marts, integrating new data sets and sources using automation tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to standardize business reporting practices and eliminate silos
  • Lead and deliver approved change projects using an agile approach

Requirements:

  • Experience in SQL server, T-SQL, SSRS, and creating secure data marts
  • Data warehouse and ETL technologies
  • ERP solutions and data models for Sales order processing, manufacturing, warehousing, etc.
  • Agile project management using JIRA
  • ITIL for creating and delivering data services
  • M365, Teams/SharePoint environment
  • Information security, including GDPR
