Overview

Montcalm Collection is a prestigious luxury hotel group in London, renowned for its exceptional portfolio of over 20 unique properties located in some of the city's most iconic areas. Each hotel offers a distinct experience, driven by a commitment to providing unparalleled guest satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Director of Health & Safety and Security to play a vital role within our central team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive programs aimed at identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Keeping abreast of industry standards and ensuring Montcalm Collection remains a leader in safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Establishing effective Safety, Health, and Environment systems that not only comply with but exceed regulatory expectations.
  • Leading the formulation and implementation of a Health and Safety Road Map to enhance our organizational culture.
  • Overseeing initiatives focused on environmental awareness across all properties.
  • Conducting regular audits, maintaining necessary documentation, and ensuring timely compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Providing customized support across all hotels to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Organizing and leading training sessions to cultivate a highly skilled team, well-versed in Montcalm standards.
  • Managing Incident Investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and diligent monitoring of corrective measures.
  • Regularly assessing and updating monthly Health, Safety, and Environmental KPIs.
  • Collaborating on Risk Assessment processes for various operational tasks.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or an equivalent qualification is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in Health and Safety within a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering tailored training programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety best practices and relevant local regulations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for identifying issues and assessing risks.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
