About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Postal Delivery Worker to join our team at Pertemps Exeter. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering parcels to our local community, working independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Sort and gather mail at the local delivery office
  • Collect and operate a hand-held computer device to track and manage your route
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • A full UK manual driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or delivery role is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Relatively fit and healthy, with the ability to walk for extended periods
  • Smartly presented and professional in appearance
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.37 per hour, paid through PAYE. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
