Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support the management of approximately 200 residential units, encompassing a diverse range of tenants and tenancy agreements. This role involves collaborating within a team to ensure effective oversight of properties, which are part of extensive portfolios managed by Savills. The successful candidate will also engage in block management responsibilities and deliver exceptional service to both clients and tenants, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Core Responsibilities


• Communicating with tenants regarding maintenance concerns and coordinating prompt repairs through the property management system.

• Strategically planning repair and annual maintenance activities.

• Assisting in the marketing, conducting viewings, and facilitating the leasing of properties.

• Managing tenant referencing, Right to Rent verifications, and necessary documentation.

• Collaborating with Savills and external letting agents, reviewing and negotiating offers to align with client expectations.

• Handling rent reviews through negotiation and documentation.

• Ensuring accurate updates and records of tenancy information.

• Overseeing timely rent payments and managing arrears in partnership with the Credit Control team.

• Coordinating with tenants regarding internal and external property redecoration.

• Preparing specifications, obtaining quotes, and directing contractors for minor works between tenancies, while liaising with the building consultancy team for larger projects.

• Welcoming new tenants at the start of their tenancy.

• Collaborating with the Estate Management team.

• Organizing check-outs, inventories, and deposit returns.

• Compiling client reports.

• Reporting to and liaising with clients, including participation in meetings.

• Periodically negotiating terms to conclude tenancies or facilitate tenant relocations in alignment with client strategies.

• Serving notices and attending court proceedings as necessary.

• Approving payments for supplier invoices.

• Conducting property checks prior to new lettings, including safety inspections.

• Collaborating with teams to stay updated on new property legislation.

Essential Skills
