We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Administrator to join our team at Howden Group. As a Claims Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing a portfolio of claims on an end-to-end basis, ensuring that clients receive a quality service and that regulatory obligations are upheld.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of commercial motor claims experience and a working knowledge of all the main classes of General Insurance. You will be responsible for dealing with phone calls and post advising of claims, FNOL management, diary and report maintenance, and ensuring that the Claims Manager is fully aware of all issues or complaints.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations and maintaining accurate records and communications with clients. In addition, you will be required to adhere to Howden service standards and procedures, accepted good market practice, and the CII Code of Ethics, to ensure the best interest of the client at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of claims on an end-to-end basis
- Deal with phone calls and post advising of claims
- FNOL management
- Diary and report maintenance
- Ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations
- Maintain accurate records and communications with clients
- Adhere to Howden service standards and procedures
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial motor claims experience
- Working knowledge of all the main classes of General Insurance
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
