Overview

Our dedicated service provides assistance to clients around the clock. We seek passionate and compassionate individuals to engage clients in various activities such as outings and recreational events. As a Care Support Specialist, you will deliver exceptional care and assistance to our clients, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. Key Responsibilities

The Role: Person Centred - Develop individualized support plans with clients that reflect their preferences and aspirations, ensuring their beliefs and opinions are respected, and adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate their evolving needs. Respectful - Assist clients in achieving their goals, promoting independence in accordance with their abilities. This may involve accompanying them on social outings, supporting their hobbies, organizing activities, and enhancing their skills and knowledge. Open - Foster transparent communication with clients and team members, acting with integrity and fulfilling commitments. Support quality assurance processes and cooperate with inspections as required. Understanding - Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect, including assistance with hygiene and daily living activities. Dedicated - Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, with full client involvement. Adhere to Health and Safety protocols, including Manual Handling, Food Hygiene, Fire Safety, and Risk Assessment procedures. Perform various household tasks based on client needs, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

The Candidate

The Candidate: Willing to deliver a suitable level of care and support to clients, following their care plans, including personal care. Understanding of the importance of maintaining precise written and numerical records. Capable of performing a variety of personal care and domestic tasks tailored to each service. Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including mobility tasks. Adjustments will be considered in line with the Equality Act for those with disabilities. Willing to learn to use computer software (such as Word and Outlook) and to pursue relevant training and qualifications in care if necessary. Capable of working collaboratively as part of a team. Able to communicate effectively with clients, families, inspectors, and other stakeholders. UK Driving license is desirable.
