Placement Officer Job Opportunity

Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Placement Officer to join their team in Kensington and Chelsea. The successful candidate will work closely with a small team to source private and voluntary placements for children and young people aged 0-25 in various settings, including foster care, residential children's homes, and semi-independent living accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the team in managing the children's placement budget and meeting performance targets related to the placement of Looked After Children (LAC).
  • Maintain accurate records in IT databases (Mosaic) and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word applications.
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) of placements, both virtually and in-person, and prepare written reports to document QA findings.
  • Take ownership of financial management, including achieving savings targets.
Requirements:
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
