Job Title: Interim Internal Audit Manager

Our client, a top-tier banking organization, is seeking a skilled Interim Internal Audit Manager to join their team. As a key member of the audit team, you will be responsible for assessing key risks, designing and testing controls, and identifying control weaknesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead audits to assess key risks and design and test controls
  • Identify key risks and related controls, and test controls to ensure design and operating effectiveness
  • Prepare well-drafted audit reports and findings, and present these findings to senior management
  • Participate in the audit planning process, ensuring that audit documentation is prepared promptly and to a high standard
Requirements:
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA, etc.)
  • Financial services experience
  • Experience auditing one of the following areas: Front Office / Sales / Trading, Capital Markets / Traditional Investment Banking, Financial Crime, Finance, Retail Banking, Private Banking, Commercial Banking, Conduct Risk, or Change & Transformation
  • Good interpersonal and client handling skills
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and audits
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
