Job Summary

Vox Network Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper and efficient maintenance of our installations, plant, and equipment across our housing stock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our Asset Management investment programme, 30-year business plan, and strategy.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance, cyclical services, and essential projects, including those of a capital nature, in line with our Housing Repair Policy.
  • Provide information to assist in maintaining an up-to-date information system on stock condition and programming.
  • Survey and inspect sites and properties, both pre- and post-inspections.
  • Assist in the development of strategies and policies relating to Asset Management.
  • Prepare and update specifications for the procurement, evaluation, and implementation of new R&M contracts across all essential services, including building repairs, voids, gas, M&E compliance.
  • Work alongside our Gas Team to provide a support service for gas compliance and essential maintenance.
Requirements
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for the full scope of duties and a full active UK driving license.
  • Experience using M&E software applications and databases, such as C365, Civica CX, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Office/Outlook, for managing work streams, record management, and compliance.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing major housing cyclical and planned maintenance projects in the public and/or private sectors.
  • Detailed knowledge of building legislation, including health and safety regulations, particularly around legionella, lifts, gas servicing, electrical services, and fire safety.
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a hybrid arrangement of 2 to 3 days in the office and site visits for the remaining 2 days.

We offer a Paye via Umbrella arrangement and an initial 6-month ongoing contract.
