Job Opportunity at Killeavy Castle Estate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Killeavy Castle Estate. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations within the estate, ensuring exceptional service standards and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the food and beverage team to deliver high-quality service and maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure menu development and food quality meet the highest standards.
  • Manage inventory, stock control, and food cost control to optimize profitability.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and hotel procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and drive growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably at 2 AA rosette standard.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu development, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Ability to train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
