Job Overview
As an Interior Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the upkeep of interior spaces, managing and coordinating operations to uphold the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
In this supervisory position, your duties will encompass:
- Leading a team of Interior Standards Operatives, overseeing maintenance and repair tasks while ensuring compliance with established protocols and quality standards. Providing essential guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance is crucial.
- Conducting regular assessments to verify that all trains adhere to safety and interior quality standards. Promptly addressing any identified issues and implementing necessary corrective measures.
- Efficiently managing resources, including personnel, materials, cleaning supplies, and equipment. Maintaining appropriate inventory levels to guarantee a steady supply of necessary tools and materials.
- Facilitating effective communication with Train Presentation Operatives, Depot Operations personnel, and other relevant departments. Preparing detailed reports on the status of interior maintenance activities, emphasizing achievements and areas needing improvement.
- Organizing training sessions for operatives to keep them informed about safety protocols, industry standards, and procedural updates. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing relevant training initiatives.
- Proactively addressing operational challenges and implementing solutions to maintain efficient interior services. Collaborating with other departments to resolve cross-functional issues impacting train interiors.
- Monitoring customer feedback related to train interiors and making enhancements based on customer expectations.
- Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols for the interior standards team to maintain a secure working environment.
- Performing additional duties as directed by the Depot Delivery Coordinator.
Ideal Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role, candidates should demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations.
- Capability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Valid driving license.
