CAD Manager Job Description

Eastgrinsteadcourier is seeking a skilled CAD Manager to join their team. As a CAD Manager, you will be responsible for surveying lift interiors, creating detailed technical drawings, and overseeing the quality control of onsite fitting teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys to gather precise measurements for lift interiors, including handrails, panels, and cosmetic components.
  • Prepare and interpret technical drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Ensure all work meets the required standards by conducting quality control inspections.
  • Manage projects from minor refurbishments to the full supply of new lift cars, including cosmetic interiors and lift body manufacturing.
  • Travel to client sites across the South of England to conduct surveys and monitor installations.
  • Comply with safety guidelines and industry regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience surveying in the lift industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication, installation techniques, and methods of construction.
  • Ability to travel to sites and hold a full UK driving license.
