Role Summary
As a prominent Salesforce partner, Slalom is looking for a proactive Salesforce Project Manager to oversee the discovery and implementation phases of intricate Salesforce projects. In this role, you will manage large-scale, multi-faceted projects with a focus on quality assurance, client relations, and strategic leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide Salesforce technical projects through the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or agile methodologies.
- Align project outcomes with the client's strategic vision.
- Serve as Scrum Master or Agile Coach as needed.
- Act as the functional and subject matter expert for the solutions being developed.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to define product requirements and create user stories that effectively communicate needs to development teams.
- Work alongside engineering teams to establish and validate project strategies and deliverables.
- Estimate project efforts using various techniques at different levels.
- Proactively identify and address issues and risks.
- Build client trust and credibility quickly.
- Facilitate meetings, provide project status updates, and prepare client presentations.
- Identify potential risks related to personnel and develop strategies to address them.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience in Agile software delivery as a Project, Product, or Program Manager, with a focus on Salesforce solutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of product, software, and testing lifecycles.
- Strong understanding of software delivery methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, and Lean.
- Experience leading remote teams.
- Diverse industry experience.
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams to deliver timely solutions.
- Self-motivated individual capable of creating structure in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with a history of increasing responsibility in process improvement.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Enjoys tackling complex challenges and problem-solving.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage diverse information.
- Salesforce-specific knowledge and/or certifications are advantageous.
- Prior consulting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
