About the Role

  7. Operational Goals: Identifies core competencies and defines operational goals to drive business success.
  8. Deputy Role: Deputizes for the Business Unit Director as required and liaises with the Board of Directors to ensure delivery of strategic intent.
Requirements
  1. Education: Holding at least a BEng degree with substantial postgraduate underpinning knowledge.
  2. Technical Expertise: Recognised as a Technical Expert within own discipline.
  3. Professional Registration: Professionally Registered as a Chartered Engineer with the UK Engineering Council.
  4. Professional Membership: Member, or Fellow (preferred) of a UK Professional Engineering Institution.
  5. Professional Development: Committed to participating in professional development activities and own professional development.
  6. Experience: 15+ years' experience in a highly regulated engineering discipline.
  7. Communication: An excellent communicator at all levels.
  8. Efficiency: Evidence of making budget efficiencies and streamlining processes and practices.
  9. Team Leadership: History of leading diverse teams of professional engineers in high-tempo scenarios.
  10. Project Delivery: Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects.
  11. Security Clearance: Security Cleared.
