About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team at Matchtech. As a key member of our IS team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of all Engineering/IS projects or new digital initiatives across the UK and Asia regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Focus on engineering-related IS technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Documentation: Prepare necessary technical documentation and assist in preparing project proposals and status updates, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Server Infrastructure: Build and configure Windows servers, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Database Management: Install and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Support/Administrative Tasks: Provide L2 and occasionally L3 support, troubleshoot issues, maintain data center hardware, develop automation scripts, and participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Systems Administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and experience with Windows Server operating systems and monitoring tools.
  • Teamwork and time management skills.
  • SQL Server experience and Microsoft certification.
