We are seeking a highly skilled Registered General Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team at Ravenswood House, a medium and low secure hospital providing assessment, care, and treatment for adults with serious mental illness and/or personality disorder.
As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care. You will also be expected to ensure a high standard of nursing in the application of clinical nursing procedures and treatments, including the custody, storage, and administration of medicines.
Main Duties- To contribute to the provision of a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week in-patient based service, across an acute care pathway.
- Under the supervision of the Clinical Ward Manager and Charge Nurses, you will work according to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in conjunction with service users, carers, and other professionals, ensuring individual needs are met.
- To carry out all relevant forms of care and be designated to take charge of a ward in the absence of a charge nurse.
