Job Title: Clinical Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Service Manager to join our team at Appoint Healthcare. As a Clinical Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement effective clinical practices and leadership in care delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards, and key performance indicators.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the hospital's strategy as part of the Senior Management team.
  • Provide operational and clinical leadership to the wider staff group in support of the Hospital Manager.
Requirements:
  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN or RNLD trained) with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
  • NMC registration.
  • Proven track record in leading teams and senior practice-based work.
  • Skilled in interpreting and analysing complex information and managing challenging situations.
  • Experience collaborating with statutory and voluntary agencies.
  • Expertise in setting, monitoring, and evaluating standards for high-quality care.
  • Competent in preparing and presenting reports to senior management.
  • Ability to drive change in practice, culture, and outcomes across professional boundaries.
  • Experience in establishing therapeutic boundaries with high-risk patients requiring advanced interventions.
  • Preferably experienced in working within acute and/or PICU settings.
  • Proficient in working with partner organisations, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to inspire and motivate others using advanced communication and presentation skills.
