Care and Support Worker - Part and Full time positions available

Crossroads Care NI is a not for profit organisation dedicated to supporting carers and those with care needs across Northern Ireland. We are currently recruiting for a Care and Support Worker to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care and support to our clients in local communities across Northern Ireland. This will include assisting or carrying out full personal care, assisting with daily activities, and providing a respite service to carers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing care and support to clients in their own homes

  • Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation

  • Providing a respite service to carers

  • Working as part of a team to provide a high quality care service

Requirements:

  • Right to live and work in the UK

  • Full valid driving licence, access to a car and willing to obtain business use

  • Residing in the area advertised

  • Must obtain NISCC registration within the first three months of employment

  • Must undergo an Enhanced Access NI Disclosure with barred lists

  • Must have access and the ability to use a computer, printer, internet and e-mails

Working Hours:

Full time - 30 hours per week minimum

Part time - 20 hours per week minimum

Hourly Rate:

Monday to Friday - £12 per hour

Saturday & Sunday £12.40 per hour

plus, mileage allowance of 25p per mile, up to £1 per hour

Locations:

We are currently recruiting in the Bangor & Newtownards areas.
