We are seeking a skilled and experienced Parks and Open Spaces Inspector to join our Streetscene service team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our parks and open spaces are well-maintained and provide a safe and enjoyable environment for users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of parks and open spaces to identify any maintenance issues or hazards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure that our parks and open spaces are well-maintained and meet the required standards.
  • Work with our grounds maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including the public, to ensure that their needs and concerns are addressed.
Requirements:
  • Registered playground inspector with experience of completing inspections to EN1176 and EN1177 standards.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a variety of outdoor environments.
  • Hold a clean driving licence and be able to use a vehicle for work purposes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
