As a key member of our educational team, you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the successful implementation of teaching programs aligned with our educational strategy and commitment to an exceptional student experience. Your role will also involve direct engagement in student support and the advancement of innovative teaching methodologies throughout the Centre.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in regular discussions with teaching and support personnel to contribute to the effective management of educational programs and the student experience.
- Assist in the design, delivery, and enhancement of modules offered by the Centre.
- Participate in the assessment and delivery of educational provisions.
- Prepare examinations and various forms of assessments, providing constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain and update the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
- Collaborate with the Student Experience Team and Registry and Operations Team in facilitating induction and registration programs.
- Work alongside the Progression, Welfare, and Support team to aid students in achieving their academic goals.
- Engage in scholarly activities to ensure the relevance and currency of module delivery.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A master's qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Candidates with a PhD are particularly encouraged to apply.
- Experience in teaching within UK higher or further education, ideally with a teaching qualification and experience working with international students.
