Job Title: Advanced Learning Disability Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Neurological Rehabilitation team at Holywell Neurological Inpatient Unit. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation of patients with complex neurological conditions, including stroke and other neurological disorders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological presentations.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate positive rehabilitation outcomes and timely discharge planning.
  • Participate in the rotation of the Early Stroke Discharge Team, neuro community team, and Watford General Acute and hyper acute Stroke Unit.
  • Manage a caseload, working with and without direct supervision, and provide clinical supervision for junior staff and students.
  • Contribute to evidence-based audit and research projects to inform physiotherapy practice within the unit.
