Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement equipment and process design from concept to startup and operation on multiple projects, ensuring accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Perform various engineering calculations and analyses related to process design and equipment sizing and selection.
- Provide engineering support to customers, and to the Sales, R&D, and Aftermarket teams.
- Review and perform code calculation requirements for pressure vessels.
- Assist with project management and perform other related duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-6+ years related experience (Level II)
- Proficient in project scheduling, tracking, and reporting, piping and instrumentation diagram creation, process flow diagram creation, pressure vessel design, equipment design, and AutoCAD.
- Demonstrates professional integrity and ethics.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical and commercial contracts.
- Must be able to communicate in English fluently. Ability to communicate in a second language (European or Asian languages) preferred but not required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; able to understand and follow oral and written instructions; communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong Microsoft office skills.
- Preferred knowledge in Autodesk Inventor, CAD Vault, ASME, COMPRESS, PED, ASPIN, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Ability to travel on an as needed basis – domestically or internationally up to 15% of the time, in office and industrial plant environments.
- Capable of self-managing projects and setting priorities. Takes initiative to manage multiple overlapping projects throughout varying execution timelines.
