Job Title: ENT Specialist Nurse

We are seeking an experienced ENT Specialist Nurse to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality aural care nursing services, including the management of an identified caseload and exercising a degree of personal and professional autonomy.

Main Duties:
  1. Deliver effective and high-quality aural care nursing services, including the management of an identified caseload and exercising a degree of personal and professional autonomy.
  2. Operational management, quality, and delivery of the nurse-led aural care service.
  3. Work within the multidisciplinary team to empower them to provide excellent standards of patient-centred care on an aural care/ENT programme.
  4. Expedite and facilitate patient-centred care for ENT patients under the aural care programme.
  5. Critically evaluate current practice using Care Quality Indicators as agreed with specific SDU leads and the multidisciplinary team.

Person Specification:
  • Working in an ENT environment.
  • ENT surgical experience/Ward Experience.
Skills:
  • Working in OPD setting up and running clinics.
  • Ability to communicate with patients/relatives/MDT in spoken and written English.
  • Evidence of CPD/postgraduate modules.
