About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Residence Coordinator to join our team at EF Education First in Oxford. As a key member of our Residence Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare and satisfaction of our international students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our students, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Residence Manager and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the residence.
  • Emergency Response: Participate in the on-call rota and respond to emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
  • Student Support: Assist students with general enquiries, provide support with curfew checks, and address concerns with relevant school staff.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of rooms and quality of service are maintained, and report any issues or concerns to the Residence Manager.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure safeguarding and fire safety procedures are in place and concerns are shared with relevant school staff.
Requirements
  • Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrate a customer-focused approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Be able to remain calm under pressure and diffuse potentially difficult situations.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Clear DBS Check: Hold a clear DBS check and be able to provide two professional references.
