Catering Operations Manager

Our client, a leading national retailer, is seeking a highly experienced National Catering Manager to oversee the day-to-day catering operations for tourist destination sites across the UK. This field-based role requires a dynamic and strategic professional who can drive the catering proposition and elevate service standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the supply chain, including contract negotiations and management, to ensure a seamless supply of goods.
- Ensure operations run smoothly and in compliance with industry standards and regulations, monitoring performance of each site and developing timely action plans to enhance performance.
- Directly drive profitability through strategic operational management.
- Lead and manage Food Service Managers on a national level, providing guidance and support to achieve company goals.
- Implement and promote Health and Safety initiatives, ensuring the team is well-informed and adheres to Food Policies, including considerations for cultural, religious, and ethnic requirements, as well as allergies and special diets.
- Experience within a similar role, catering operations manager, or a national role.
- Understanding of catering operations and compliance standards.
- Previous experience of managing multi-site catering, minimum 10 sites.
- Trained to Intermediate Food Hygiene level.
- Full driving license.
- Comfortable with a field-based role – visiting sites across the UK.
