We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Child Practitioner to join our team at Eliteemployment's outstanding nursery in Matford Green.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social development. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a safe and engaging environment that promotes learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging indoor and outdoor play activities that meet the needs of children aged [insert age range].
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Support the Lead Practitioner in supervising and guiding colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
- Support the development of children's skills and abilities, including their physical, emotional, and social growth.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive environment that promotes children's well-being and happiness.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in childcare or a related field.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and its principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Paediatric First Aid certification.
