Building Control Surveyor

A dynamic and forward-thinking construction consultancy, Brandon James Ltd, is seeking a highly skilled Building Control Surveyor to lead on BSA PD compliance and ensure that all projects adhere to the latest regulations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the compliance process for BSA/Building Regulations PD on various projects.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on the Building Safety Act 2022 and building regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to address compliance issues and implement best practices.
- Prepare and review reports, documentation, and safety files.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure clear communication and effective compliance management.
- Deliver training and updates on the Building Safety Act 2022 and building regulations to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Extensive experience as a Building Control Surveyor, with a strong focus on compliance health and safety.
- In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and current building regulations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage compliance processes on complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant qualifications in building control, surveying, or a related field.
- Competitive salary: £50,000 - £70,000.
