About the Role
The Facilities Assistant (Domestic) will be a key member of the Capital Investment and Estates Services department at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive cleaning service for the Trust, working across in-patient and/or community settings as assigned.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties in accordance with the cleaning schedule, policy, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure infection control, COSHH, and health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Report any incidents or near misses as per Trust policy.
- Dispose of all categories of waste safely and in accordance with Trust guidelines.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by Senior Staff.
Requirements
- NVQ 2 or equivalent experience.
- Experience of cleaning services, including COSHH knowledge and Colour Coding.
- Knowledge of health and safety techniques.
- Good liaison and communication skills, punctuality, and reliability.
