As a Technical Solutions Engineer at 7035 Anord Mardix (UK) Limited, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the design, projects, and quality departments. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the technical aspects of our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement technical solutions to support product design and development.
- Collaborate with design departments to ensure products meet relevant international standards.
- Identify and mitigate system deficiencies and risks, and implement effective technical solutions.
- Review and develop technical specifications, including general arrangement and schematic drawings.
- Support the sales team in providing technical solutions to clients, ensuring a cost-effective and risk-adverse approach.
- Produce technical reports and project design calculations.
- Assist the Quality Team in resolving technical quality defects.
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical queries.
- Manage workload effectively to deliver assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal personnel.
- Assist in employee training, development, and engagement.
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years' experience in Power Switchgear and Controlgear assembly testing, commissioning, or design/support.
- Excellent personnel management and professional communication skills.
- Ability to write clear, concise technical protocols and reports.
- Team player with a positive attitude towards work and staff engagement.
- Proactive with an eye for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Excellent PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in understanding electrical engineering drawings.
- Operate with a high level of attention to detail, under pressure, and good administrative/organizational ability.
- UK and foreign travel availability.
- Holder of a valid car driving license.
