Job Title: Subsea Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Subsea Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Oliver Valves. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing subsea valves for oil and gas applications.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with subsea valve design. You will work closely with our engineering team to develop and implement new designs, as well as improve existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop subsea valves for oil and gas applications
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement new designs
  • Improve existing subsea valve designs to meet customer requirements
  • Generate production machine drawings and general arrangement drawings using Solidworks and ACAD
  • Perform calculations to support new designs or changes to existing designs
  • Process customer orders and coordinate with the production team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Full working knowledge of AutoCad LT and Solidworks
  • Experience with subsea valve design and development
  • 2-8 years of working experience in the oil and gas industry
